Maybe I should look for something else?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cI want to work in a totally different field, but don\u2019t even know where to start?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Change can be both <strong>exciting<\/strong> and <strong>overwhelming!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be extremely daunting to change career paths, or jobs. Sometimes it feels easier to stay put, even though you feel unfulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What I can support you with?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help you understand what your transferable skills are and how these can make you a desirable candidate for other jobs and work sectors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explore work experience opportunities to help you build the experience needed to enter another career field- this might include work shadowing, building connections with people in that sector via platforms such as LinkedIn and networking events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look at qualifications needed. There are excellent options to re-qualify, e.g. Access courses. In many fields one can do a degree part -time, which is sometimes supported by the employer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The key thing about making a change is knowing the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is the right decision for you &#8211; it will suit your skills, interests, support the lifestyle you want and be fulfilling. This is a key part of my role.
